WELCOME!
Welcome to an exciting year. I am thrilled to have you in this class, and I look forward to learning a lot from each and every one of you. I have been at DSA for several years (taking a year off). In my time at DSA, I have taught English and Social Studies courses (grades ranging from 7th grade English to 11th -12th grade AP courses in both Social Studies and English). I have a passion for learning – I love the humanities, language, literature, history, and politics. I am excited to learn just as much from you and your experiences as you will hopefully learn from me and my experiences.
We all bring something unique to class, and I want to use each of your strengths to make class the best it can be. All I ask is that you come prepared to learn, share, and have fun learning. I am here to guide you and watch you teach and gain new insight, so please feel free to contact me anytime you have a question, comment, or just wish to share something interesting. My contact information can be found on the sidebar. Let’s make this year one that you will remember.
Best,
Mr. Russell
